Q. How long does it take to create every mosaic item you have in your store?
A. First, I consider the mosaic design. Usually I can do that in my head. Next, I assemble the china that will best serve that design and cut it to size. Once I have my mosaic design and materials, the piece can be created in my studio The Paint Place NJ within days.
Q. What is your bestseller?
A. Actually, our best seller is the handcrafted mosaic knob. Since the supply of fine porcelain is ever changing, each one of the nifty knobs is unique. They always can be made to match your color scheme and your unique home decor. The handcrafted mosaic knobs come in 1.5" and 2.5" diameter. We give 10% discount for the orders of 6 or more.
Q. What size of mosaic mirrors are available?
A. I make mosaic mirrors from 7" x 9" up to 24" x 36".
Q. What kind of material do you use?
A. My favorite material is broken china. It provides both imagery and color to the mosaic design. I add to the personality of the piece by making ceramic flowers and other whimsical ornamentation.
Q. What if I like an item in your online store, but is it already sold. Is it possible to make the same piece or very similar piece again?
A. Like all mosaic design, each piece is considered a unique work of art; therefore an exact recreation is impossible. However, I will be delighted to work with you to achieve something almost the same that would fit to your unique home decor.
Q. What is The Paint Place NJ return policy?
A. All sales are Final.
Q. What if the item has arrived broken?
A. Each item is packed with utmost care to ensure safe shipment.
Q. What are your hours of operation?
A. The Paint Place NJ is open Wednesday thru Sunday 12-6 PM, but if you are planning a visit, it would be best to call first.
